Here’s How to Preorder the New Samsung Galaxy A54 for Just $200

And you can score a set of Galaxy Buds Live for just $50, too.

Samsung’s Galaxy A54 5G is already looking to make a splash in the cheap phone market with a starting price of just $450, but if you preorder today you can nab one for only $200 at Samsung when you trade in your old device. You can also bundle in a pair of Galaxy Buds Live wireless earbuds for just $50 with your Galaxy A54 preorder, a savings of $100.

The steep $250 instant credit applies to trade-ins on devices like last year’s Galaxy A53 5G or Galaxy S21 FE, and you can actually get more than $250 off by handing over a more premium Samsung phone from recent years like the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Galaxy Z Flip 3. Non-Samsung phones are accepted too, with recent iPhone and Pixel models being worth as much as $337.

When it comes to specs, the Galaxy A54 5G is no slouch. It offers a 6.4-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery (the same capacity as the Galaxy S23 Ultra) and 128GB of internal storage that can be boosted expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB in size. The Galaxy A54 5G also has a 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and 5-megapixel macro camera.

The phones available to preorder at Samsung are offered unlocked so you can use yours with your preferred carrier. They come in violet and graphite color options. Other preorder perks offered via Samsung include three months of Spotify Premium, six months of SiriusXM streaming and two months of Adobe Lightroom for new users. The Galaxy A54 5G officially launches on April 6, though Samsung is estimating an April 11 delivery for its preorders.
