If you find in-ear buds uncomfortable, but over-ear headphones feel a little too bulky, then a pair of on-ear headphones may be the solution. They are slimmer and lighter, and right now, you can snag one of the best pairs of 2025 at a great price.

Amazon has knocked $70 off all color variants of the Beats Solo 4, which means you can grab yourself a pair for just $130 right now. While that is not the all-time lowest price we’ve seen, it is still a pretty great bargain. Just be sure to get your order in soon, as there is no set expiration for this deal.

The Beats Solo 4 headphones offer solid sound and voice call performance, but they didn’t exactly wow CNET audio expert David Carnoy with their $200 starting price. However, he found they «make a lot more sense» for around $130, making this deal a great time to buy.

They lack active noise cancellation, but they do support spatial audio if you’re an Apple user. Plus, they boast an impressive 50 hours of listening time per charge. They are also very lightweight at just 217 grams, and the plush ear cushions help reduce outside noise.

Why this deal matters

If you prefer on-ear headphones, you don’t have quite as many options as people who prefer earbuds or over-ear headphones. The Beats Solo 4 are one of the best pairs on the market, and while they are a little pricey at $200, our reviewer found that they are a much better value at around $130.

Clue words to unlock in-game hints

Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the puzzle’s theme. If you’re stuck, find any words you can. Every time you find three words of four letters or more, Strands will reveal one of the theme words. These are the words I used to get those hints but any words of four or more letters that you find will work:

SORT, BOLT, GENT, ROTS, VALE, SCAR, MEAT, TEAM, LACE, BITER, BOTS, LOTS, SOOT

Answers for today’s Strands puzzle

These are the answers that tie into the theme. The goal of the puzzle is to find them all, including the spangram, a theme word that reaches from one side of the puzzle to the other. When you have all of them (I originally thought there were always eight but learned that the number can vary), every letter on the board will be used. Here are the nonspangram answers:
