Apple Watch Series 11 Hits a Black Friday-Busting New Low for the Holidays

With a $100 discount, now is the time to treat yourself or a loved one to a new smartwatch.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is the latest in Apple’s long-running line of smartwatches, making it the go-to option if you’re an iPhone owner. But Apple’s latest models rarely come at a discount, which is what makes this deal so impressive. If you order your new Apple Watch Series 11 soon, you’ll get it for just $299 — the lowest price we’ve ever seen this model sell for. That’s a great deal, whether you’re buying for yourself or for a Christmas gift.

That price means you’ll save $100 off the usual asking price, and there are a couple of different colors for you to choose from. Just beware that this discounted price doesn’t apply to all models, so be sure to check the price of your favorite color before ordering. Target is also offering the same watch for a dollar more at $300, but only for Target Circle members. Signing up is free, so be sure to check your preferred color there, too.

The Apple Watch Series 11 iterates on the previous models while retaining all of the features that made them so popular. There’s an always-on display and water resistance, perfect for use in the pool. And because it’s full of sensors, you can track and monitor everything from your latest workout to your sleeping patterns.

Battery life is often a problem for smartwatches, but Apple has worked on it, making sure the Apple Watch Series 11 lasts longer between charges. It can now run for up to 24 hours before it needs topping up, and a 15-minute charge will add an extra 8 hours of battery when you need it.

SMARTWATCH DEALS OF THE WEEK

Why this deal matters

A smartwatch can make a world of difference, whether you’re looking to get fit or stay that way. But it can also be useful for everyone else as well, thanks to an App Store full of apps. This is your chance to get the best Apple Watch yet at a price we’ve never before seen — just remember that this price is unlikely to last.

Hint for today’s Strands puzzle

Today’s Strands theme is: Grammatically speaking

If that doesn’t help you, here’s a clue: English class.

Clue words to unlock in-game hints

Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the puzzle’s theme. If you’re stuck, find any words you can. Every time you find three words of four letters or more, Strands will reveal one of the theme words. These are the words I used to get those hints but any words of four or more letters that you find will work:

  • POUNCE, OUNCE, NICE, LACE, PARTS, ARTS, SPEECH

Answers for today’s Strands puzzle

These are the answers that tie into the theme. The goal of the puzzle is to find them all, including the spangram, a theme word that reaches from one side of the puzzle to the other. When you have all of them (I originally thought there were always eight but learned that the number can vary), every letter on the board will be used. Here are the nonspangram answers:

  • NOUN, VERB, ARTICLE, ADJECTIVE, CONJUNCTION

Today’s Strands spangram

Today’s Strands spangram is PARTSOFSPEECH. To find it, start with the P that’s the farthest left letter on the top row, and wind down and over and then up.
